About Global Health Strategies (GHS)
GHS is an international health organization that works to ensure the delivery of life-saving health products, technologies, and information to those who need them the most. We use policy research and analysis, advocacy, communications, program implementation, and market entry strategies to address health-related issues that disproportionately impact developing nations and emerging markets. In this endeavour, GHS partners with foundations, industry, NGOs, government agencies, and academic institutions. Some of our prominent partners include the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Johns Hopkins University, the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition, and GAVI, the Vaccine Alliance, among others. GHS has offices in New York, New Delhi, Rio de Janeiro, Beijing, Johannesburg, Nairobi, and London, and supports work in diverse countries in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas. We are in the process of expanding our presence in Indonesia.

Project Background
In 2023, the Advancing Health Online Initiative (AHO) launched an innovative partnership with Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, called VaxSocial. This initiative supports country-specific endeavors that utilize social media and behavioral science to enhance confidence in routine immunizations. GHS is one of the global partners chosen under the VaxSocial initiative to implement a creative digital media strategy in Indonesia. The aim is to create a comprehensive and engaging social media ecosystem that will contribute to building immunization confidence, dispelling misinformation, and ultimately, driving higher vaccine uptake in four target provinces. GHS plans to achieve this through targeted campaigns, data-driven monitoring, and capacity-building efforts with close collaboration with the Indonesian Health Ministry.

The primary goal of the project is to sustainably improve vaccine uptake and utilization of vaccine services in Indonesia, and will focus on six key objectives:
